Slide 1: A dystopian mask created using flexible boning and organza to give 3D structure, to demonstrate how facial emotions are internalised by partial concealment.

Slide 2 & 3: Preparatory work and Final Major Project (FMP)‘1,2,3’ at LAU. Concrete experimentation, research using acetates and the theme of ‘conceal & reveal’ using different materials. Due to Covid restrictions, I chose materials accessible from home.

Slide 4: Sussex University, Industrial Process Application (casting a perfume bottle) exploring the design limitations and implications of parting lines.

Slide 5: Sussex University project to challenge the traditional shape of a computer mouse. A series of plasticine forms (top right) were analysed for ergonomic comfort. The successful configuration was created using foam, air drying clay and acrylic primer/paint.

Slide 6: Sussex University Solidworks CAD. Individually designed camping equipment; objects consisting of at least three components. The individual files were assembled into a single Adobe Dimensions image.

Slide 7&8: 2m³ LAU project to translate information from a specific 2m³ space in my home environment, including human traffic and temperature gradients, to create an abstract 3D representation from concrete, coloured acetate and wire.

Slide 9: Re-drafted traditional denim jacket pattern to create experimental chevron detail and front zipped yoke, requiring challenging pattern drafting and sewing techniques.

Slide 10: Self-taught drafting of moulage, pattern block and pattern with ease. From the pattern block, I designed, redraughted and produced the back-keyhole top in silk.
